Newsletter – September 2019

Since last time, quite a lot has happened. The thesis paper of 2019 is completed, and some less fortunate events happened during completed and some less fortunate events happened during the summer that took my original update schedule and threw it out the window. So instead of a summer of productivity it has been a summer of self care, but I’m back on track and more confident than ever now. However, during this time I have still done quite substantial progress towards finding out what the next step is for me forward and out. I’ve started to reach out to some professors here on campus as well as looking into UX positions in companies, mainly abroad because that just feels right for me.

This site has since last time also seen some rather substantial changes, which those with a keen eye might’ve been able to spot: several sections have been removed or reverted back to their draft in favour for full completion before publishing. This way, not a single page is half baked or below the standards that I want to keep. The affected sections are the following: Travels, Portfolio, and Photos. Furthermore, the travel logs are already scheduled and laid out, but for the first large travel batch I want at least several logs to be included before moving forward with new ones as they come. Additionally, the photo gallery was reverted while designing the watermarks and layout of the page itself.

Keep your eyes peeled, and if you know of any UX/web design openings near you or regarding design in general that you think I could be interested in, feel free to let me know by leaving me a message here.
