A CURIOUS UX DESIGNER FROM THE NORTH

Hi, I’m Robin

I was born and raised in northern Sweden, in a small village tucked away on the outskirts of Sweden's smallest municipality* with a population of less than 2400 people. Despite it being so small it is actually quite famous due to its farm with tamed elks and vast forests.

As a result of this, I always felt like the outcast in a hunting-orientated community - that was until we got stable internet to our house. From that point forward, I discovered that you could have your own space on the internet, how beautiful the world is, and the wonderful world of psychology. Ever since I've created websites on numerous platforms, travelled across Europe, and made friends and memories for life.

What makes UX so exciting for me is that it is right at the crossroads of my three big interests and backgrounds; Technology, Psychology, and Design. This has allowed me to understand the impact design can have on an individual, collective, or even societal level if implied on a greater scale.

I believe that a design that takes the user's needs into consideration can generate great experiences, empower the people that surround it, and allow for new stories to be told. What drives me is creating solutions that matter, and that make a difference while still being intuitive.  And above all, allow new stories to be told to nurture new designs.
